Member, Board of Directors, Fr. Jerome Magat
Former technology and healthcare research consultant, Fr. Magat completed seminary studies at Mount St. Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland where he earned both a Master's in Divinity and a M.A. in the Theology with a concentration on Moral Theology. His expertise in Pope John Paul's personalistic philosophy and theology of work received media attention.
Fr. Magat is a columnist in the Arlington Catholic Herald. He has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, EWTN's "The Live Show" and "The World Over", as well as ABC's "Nightline". In 2005, Fr. Magat founded the Guadelupe Free Clinic, the Diocese of Arlington's first free medical clinic for the poor. The Clinic has been internationally recognized, having received the International Community Activity Award from the Knights of Columbus, the order's highest award for service work. In addition, serves as the parochial vicar to St. William of York Parish in Stafford, VA.
Member, Board of Directors, General Counsel, Joseph G. Cosby, Esq., K.M. Mr. Cosby is a highly skilled litigator with over 17 years experience in Washington D.C. He serves as general counsel to several boards of directors promoting humantarian assistance internationally and domestically. Mr. Cosby has appeared on BBC and his writing has been published in Catholic World Report and First Things. Mr. Cosby is also an adjunct facility member of Columbia School of Law at Catholic University. Mr. Cosby has been awarded the Pope John Paul II's Service and Solidarity Award. He has been member of the Knights of Malta. He is also a member of the Vatican Foundation Centismus Annus Pro Pontifice. He is married to Eileen Macapanas Cosby.
Founder, Eileen Macapanas Cosby Ms. Macapanas Cosby is an entrepreneur with a background in organizational development and training management. Mrs. Cosby is also a writer and speaker on human rights issues such as human trafficking, women's issues and Christian spirituality. Her publications include co-authorship of two books and articles in the secular and Catholic press. She has appeared on ABC, EWTN, Focus on the Family television and radio shows. She has taught psychology at Francisan University of Steubenville and Lamar University. Along with Jackie Fernandez Cruz and Fr. John Conway, Mrs. Cosby founded the Filipino Family Fund with her husband, Joseph Cosby in 2005 in a response for more solidarity by clergy and lay leaders in the Philippines.
